do not forget your keys, seriously i almost forgot to get my keys from my mom.
also in the written part, look at the posters on the wall, they might have answers
and finally, be on time my buddy showed up an hour late for his appointment and the dmv wouldn't let him try again for a month

lol my buddy in the middle of driving took his hand off wheel and went to shake instructors hand hahaha needless to say he failed but he got it after 5 more tries. He sucked at the driving test lol

Remember to use your turn signals. Is the test on the road or a course? When I got my license you had to go to the State Police Barracks and a State Trooper would ride shotgun while you went through a course. How is it now?

I know for my driving test I didn't have to parallel park and all I had to do was drive around for like 5 minutes and I took the test back in September. It was too easy and should have been a lot longer and harder. Now I realize why there are so many clueless and horrible drivers on the road (at least in CA). But like everyone else has said; turn signals, know your hand signals and all controls (lights, defogger, etc.), both hands on the wheel at 10 and 2, don't inch forward at a light if there is room to go forward. Before you go to take the test check all the lights and parking brake (can't take test if even one light is out). Basically use common sense and don't do anything stupid.

thanks everyone. test wont be on a set course. they have multiple routes that take you through different areas around the dmv, like school zones, busy streets, four way, two way stops, etc. im pretty sure i'll have to do parallel parking. so at a two way stop, your suppose to stop before the sign, move forward to see if both sides are clear, then turn right??

Go to most heavily traveled, congested part of town and practice parking. You will find the parallel parking secret when 18 people are blowing their horns behind you. Stress can make you summon the strength to do almost anything.

parallel is too easy. they barrels to park in between are so far apart. lol anyone have an answer for my Q in my previous post?
