well all 4 of my festae ,my 4" cuban,my 4 " jag,and my 2 texas cichlids all have the white poop.. i will treat with what i bought for the time they recommend,and if it don't work looks like i will just start over with new fish. i am not going to go broke over a handful for 3-7 dollar fish. sucks but thats the way it goes .. i never had a single issue with my piranhas ever .

If you post in the freshwater disease and sickness section you might get some great adviceeeee.... i wouldn't give up that quickly... especially not with festae. If you're gunna give up give me the festae 
Any food with praziquantel will work. Costs about 4 bucks. Meds with a combo of praziquantel and metronidazole works too. About 4-5 bucks per 80 gallo s as well. Shouldn't be too expensive to treat. And you've got too many cool fish to not at least try medicated food.
i have the medicated food .. none of the fish will eat it 
.. i have been thawing bloodworms and mixing with metro and epson salt. i am not giving up just yet .. i have a bottle of metro,a bottle of prazi pro,and jungle parasite clear.. i also have big ole bag of epson salt. just sucks is all .. the poop almost looks like clear blood worms on some of the fish.. the jag;s poop looks like a grayish hula skirt pooping out of his knot,and the 1 texas cichlid is half poop ,and half white the other texas is not showing any signs yet. the festae's poop looks like 2 inch piece of white thread.. i am bummed but i am treating the jungle parasite clear and epson salt 1st if this does not work i will do the metro and prazi

You're already doing the right things. You might try not reeding them for a couple days then presoak the food in water before giving it to them. Softening it up can help.
well a few of my fish are pooping normal,and the others are not wanting to eat.. they seem very active so far today.. i am treating wht jungle parasite clear ,and epson salt .. i am dosing the tank at the same time i am using jungle. hoep thats ok. i am also treating food with metro and prazipro
Just my opinion, but I'd try to do more investigating to try and find out what's wrong before throwing in a bunch of meds. I hate using meds and only do it as a very last resort.

Have there been any changes to the tank since you've had them such as aquascaping, temp change, add/remove fish etc?
They could just be temporarily stressed and if that's the case then you should be able to fix the problem simply by making sure the water is extra clean by doing additional water changes and just doing what you can to make sure there is nothing that will cause them stress.

ok well this is an update.. all fish are alive eating and fat again. did 3 treatments of jungle with epson salt . a couple still were pooping white. so i did a huge water change and treated 2 more times with metro+ and epson salt.. they stopped pooping white ,and where pinching normal loafs again i am happy ,and thanks for all the info from you guys. i had all but given up
