Came downstairs to feed my fish today and saw this:

I think my ray shed her stinger and my azul tried to eat it.

Netting her out was stressful because she was darting around the tank and I was afraid she would hit it on something. Thankfully she didn't, and as I lifted her out the tank the barb got caught on the net and came out very smoothly and easily. I put her right back in and she swam around with the other 2 azuls just like normal even though her gill was obviously swollen.

I checked on her every 30 min for the first 90 min and she seemed fine. 2 hours later she's upside down.... ?????
