Unfortunately the money that I had set aside for a new tank is now spent.

120g or keep him in the tank he's in and move the jag to the 120.

that sucks maybe if you save a bit you could get a tank before you have to get rid of the oscar??

Well I guess I don't really have to get rid of the oscar, he shares a divided 125 with a jag (both around 8") but with the possibility of it being months before I could afford to buy the tank again and I don't really like the thought of keeping the still growing fish in 3'x18" quarters.

Months eh? Is it possible to get loans from banks for minor things then pay it off? Or maybe you've thought about selling the fish you least like or you can pick up easily again (different one of course but same colouration). Then that will leave you with for example a Jag in a 120. Then you'd buy another 120 and another oscar.
