My favorite ob peacock died, just all of a sudden. He was fine, healthy looking, eating normal, greeting me when I left for work. I came home and he was in the back corner.
Then the next day, in my other tank my oscar has my peacock eel in his mouth swimming around all happy. There are lots of hiding spots, and they had been fine together for 6+ months. But not too shocking.
Then yesterday I wake up to find my 5 inch red tail shark bobbing in the water with no head. Guessing my oscar struck in the middle of the night because the only other 'aggressive' fish in the tank is a 4 inch green severum.
Then the same day my lacefin cat has weird markings on his sides. That thankfully have now disappeared. They looked like scrapes or burns.
I am ready for the week to be over with.
