Hey MFK's -
Wanted to give everybody an update on how the move went. Devan from MD came to my house sat morning to get the fish. After taking some water out, he started to get a little stress. He knew something was up. Quite surprisingly I started rubbing his stomach and he calmed right down. I used to do this alot and was always surprise he liked it. Anyway I was able to grab him with both my hands and slowly move him out of the water and put him in a big container. He was much wider than i thought once I had him in my hands. We put stress coat in the water and had a portable air pump and heater for the ride home.

Later that afternoon Devan told me he was fine just chillin out.

When he sends me photos, I will surely post.

I can't stop staring at the empty tank, but know he's in a much better place.

Thats awsome Thor. Now you know your cat is in a better tank, and you can put some cichlids in the tank. Just remember to go for CA/SA cichlids.

Ok when I first read your post I had to realize whose stomach you started rubbing ,lol, but really, its good to see you placed the welfare of the fish ahead of
the situation and got him to a" better place" as you put it.. Good job..
