Here's some information for EVERYONE that sees this movie(non-spoiler) in the theater.

Stay in your seat past the credits... they show an ending clip.

Overall a very good movie

If I had to complain... there were some things I didn't like(all minor)

1) Thor only wore his 'helmet' at the beginning.
2) I believe in the comics Loki was Thor's half brother. That's not so here.
3) The Destroyer was too tall(also seen in previews)
4) The battle between Thor and the Destroyer was too short and chessy.
5) No real connection between Don Blake and Thor other then Thor using his name.

I did like the more tie ins with the other characters (Hulk and Iron Man) for the future Avengers movie.

Stan of course was in it. Everyone laughed by his part.

Again, I thought it was good and recommend it to anyone that likes this type of stuff.

I liked it, I agree with most of what you said. The fight against the destoyer was pretty lame, Natalie Portman's cans looked bigger than usual, lol, the fight against the ice giants though was pretty sweet.

The scene for Hawkeye is just too short. And he didn't even fire an arrow in the entire scene... :WTF:

Best part was Thor entering a pet shop and said "I want a horse"

i don't trust these kinds of movies anymore
What ruined it for you?......I know it's a small thing and I wasn't the most avid reader of the comic book back in the day but I don't remember Thor having a beard or any facial scruff.

here are a few reasons why i think any movie based off a comic book super hero is crap

xmen sequals, first one really wasn't all that also

spiderman sequals, first one was ok but i never cared for toby as spiderman nor chic that played mj. best character was goblin

dare devil (my personal worse, this one truly makes me cringe)

catwoman

iron man, still haven't seen part 2 and won't until it comes on cable

ghostrider

fantastic 4 and sequal

spawn

batman sequals, (first one is still the best, but last one shows they're getting better at it)

odd i enjoyed most of what you listed but maybe because i'm just a special effects junkie. i've just accepted that most movies will entertain me for the 2 hours i watch them but may leave me craving more at the end or....... more often then not, they're forgettable after the 2 hours.

i look at batmans as remakes instead of sequels. just a different director's imaginations. i bet we'll all be disappointed with the dark knight sequel after the last one place the bar so high.

yea, the special effects is pretty much all you're paying for, if you're in it for good actors that actually fit the roles they play and storylines, pffff, forget about it

i love the special effects too but i have a place in my heart for comic book characters too, so it bothers me when they put out crap movies

i feel the same way about what america did with the last Godzilla movie. dont' freakin EF with Godzilla unless you are gonna do it right. King Kong movie was cool, i liked it
