I have a 40 gal breeder with six of these guys with some cories , loaches , and congo tetras. i believe they paired off and i have three pairs. my question is how long before these guys typical breed, and at what size is this .Mine are about 3 or 4 inches. The pairs do a little flaring up at each other but nothing major

i would say they are probably ready to breed at 4". Now I have no personal experience with Pasiones but typically with firemouths and some other Thor. I would say they could be ready now. Several breeding pairs in one 40 breeder might cause a bit too much aggression though.

right now no aggression at all only flaring once in a while if it does though well move a pair or two

how long did it take them to get to 4"? I just got tow at 2.5" just barely starting to show color.

they may not be 4 inches but i had them for like five or six months

I would just keep an eye on them. You may have to move a pair or maybe two, or get dividers. they can get about 7'' full grwon though. They look great BTW.
