Picked up a trio of Pasionis a few weeks ago from the Cichlid Exchange through my LFS and I must say they are awesome fish to keep. As soon as they went in the tank a pair seemed to form, and at 2.5" they are easily the smallest pair I have had. The pair is making me regret not getting any Thoricthys till now but I can tell they are going to be a joy to keep. The plan with them is the road is to house the trio with a a pair of Motaguense in a 135, but also have contemplated doing the trio in a 55 with a group of livebearers so we'll see. Okay enough typing here are the pics.

They look really good - great color on them already. Thorichthys is really an overlooked group - lots of color, stay smallish, good with planted tanks, not very aggressive for a cichlid - I have no idea why they have not caught on more. IMO, firemouths are the worst looking of the group!

The planted 55 with livebearers or tetras gets my vote. These guys in with a pair of motas sounds like trouble to me.
