I have read the diy c02 and followed exact instructions on making one but for some reason mine never works. here is my process... i use a 2 litre bottle with a hole drilled on top with a airline through. i then take 1/2 tsp(2.5ml) of active dry yeast and then mix it with warm water 1/4 full in the bottle and mix really well. then i add about 2 cups sugar and again mix. the other end of the airline is then stuk in the tank but nothing ever bubbles. is this the process of how its done. i've been doing this and it doesnt work? Can anyone Help???

Ive seen where some people have stuck their bottles inside another container with water and a water heater in it to keep the culture warm. I used the 2 liter bottle on an old 55 before but it was just a pain to keep checking and you dont get a consistent co2 supply.
try buying a different batch of yeast...it could also be a leak like the others said. i mix my yeast in water thats about 112 degrees or so then add it into the bottle with the sugar and top it off to where i want it and it makes CO2 fast.you dont want it too hot because it will kill the yeast
