I have read the diy c02 and followed exact instructions on making one but for some reason mine never works. here is my process... i use a 2 litre bottle with a hole drilled on top with a airline through. i then take 1/2 tsp(2.5ml) of active dry yeast and then mix it with warm water 1/4 full in the bottle and mix really well. then i add about 2 cups sugar and again mix. the other end of the airline is then stuk in the tank but nothing ever bubbles. is this the process of how its done. i've been doing this and it doesnt work? Can anyone Help???

Wait 24 hours. The bottle should be about 3/4 of the way full with water.

another thing to check is that the seal around the bottle lid and the airline tube is tight. also that the airline tube is not under water in the bottle.

try buying a different batch of yeast...it could also be a leak like the others said. i mix my yeast in water thats about 112 degrees or so then add it into the bottle with the sugar and top it off to where i want it and it makes CO2 fast.you dont want it too hot because it will kill the yeast

I know for yeast to cultivate for cooking dough the water must be 110 to 114 degrees F.

He will never be back to check this post ;)
