Tank is about 7 gallons 12" wide x 6" deep x 24" tall custom made from acrylic. Has a chunk of mopani wood and a small branch of manzanita with black sand, goldish/ tan small gravel and some small river rocks. Plants include anacharis, rotala indica, bali moss, marimo moss ball, and an anubias nana petite that i found hidden in the big chunk of bali moss i bought. The plants have filled in much more since this pic was taken i'll have to add an updated pic when i get a chance to clean and adjust some of the plants.

I wonder why a sponge filter in the corner in a planted tank? it's killing the view IMO.

the sponge filter was from an established tank and i used it to help cycle the water faster. it's much less visible now with the plants grown in a bit. i'll be adding some shrimp and maybe a small fish or 2 soon.

Interesting tank being so much taller than it is long or wide... Although could give off quite a nice effect with lots of tall background plants and fish and shrimp swimming between everything...

I'm waiting for the anacharis and rotala indica to fill in a little more so they should grow up to the top. i may add a few more anacharis strands from my planted 20 at home. shrimp and a fish should be going in soon just haven't decided on a breed for either yet

here's an updated pic i took about 2 weeks ago after adding more moss, everything has grown well. but i did have some lower leaves on the rotala melt when the light failed over a long weekend. the bulb has since been replaced and i leave the blinds cracked so it gets some sunlight every morning.
