got my nano cube in the mail this week (12g), starting to throw around some ideas, and would like some help.

would like to do some lowlight corals/shrooms/zooanthids, and was not planning on adding fish to keep down the nitrates and keep water quality good. but now im looking at doing those plus some crabs and shrimp, snails not preferred.

my tap water is very in calcium and iron, yet im concerned about its alkalinity, which is also very high. any thoughts? last time i tested is, the calcium and alkalinity exceed the test strips parameters, and my ph was about 8.8

if you plan on coral's stay away from crabs and hermits they climb and sometimes if not eventually will nip your coral's snail's aren't pretty but keep the tank clean.
