Hey guys let me get your opinions/thoughts on this one. Thanks in advance!

BEFORE UPGRADE:
1. My Shoal of Pygo. Natttereri are basically juvies.
2. About 7 are at solid 4" while the other 4 are 3-4".
3. I have currently have them in a 80gallon wide tank.
4. Planted/dw in tank.

AFTER UPGRADE:
1. Going from 80g wide to a 210g wide 7x2x2.
2. Will plant ones that I already have as well as dw.
3. Close to fulfilling the 1 nat to 20g ratio.

Problems:
1. Is it okay to upgrade right now when they are around 4" give or take?
2. Will the 210g be good enough for life time?
3. Anyone know a good type of light sand substrate?

If u upgrade now it will be harder to control feeding and water quality, it is easier to grow out fish in smaller tanks imo. But if you don't mind changing 100 gallons per week and scooping out uneaten food all the time then Ull be good, just way harder to clean and maintain. But it does have pros, such as, more space thus less aggression and Ull never have to move them again as long as they live. As long as you keep up maintenance on the big tank Ull be good.

Id use pfs, prlly about 250-300 lbs so about 5-6 bags, tan will look awesome. And at their size u can even do a nice 3d backround with rock edges, I wouldn't normally recommend this but 11 4inchers in a 200+ gal is soooo much space as it is. If you have the $$ then do it!

Ur gonna need a top, more current (check out korrila powerheads), more dw and plants and more time to maintain but all in all nice plan. That gives them exactly 20 gal per rbp.

Their gonna grow very quickly in that setup!

if you can upgrade now, I would upgrade now, with a larger tank the water quality would be better. I had no problem with starting small fish in big tank, really depends on what you going to be feeding them. if you are still feeding a lot of worms then a smaller tank will be easier but if you are feeding them shrimp/fish etc then is no problem.
pool filter sand would be good option if you want to go with light color sand substrate, 250 lbs would give you a good layer. if you want thicker you can always get more.
If you plan to have really high current flow then I would actually suggest use gravel than sand as gravel being heavier so your substrate won't get blow away.

Well, currently I dont have any power heads that increase the flow but I might get one once I do upgrade. I really like sand so I might go with that. I'm going to check both brands and see which one is available at the lfs. Plus, atm I only feed market shrimp, cod/tilapia fillets, ghost shrimps, and occasional minnows/rosies, but MAINLY nls pellets. A good thing is that my shoal never waste food. I put in a good amount where each eats few bites and still swarm the area in search of more but fails because there is no more lol. I think once I get the new tank, I going to bunch up all my dw in one area as well as live plants and have the second half with wide open space. My shoal likes to lurk the lower part of the water therefore, I'm going to put a long fake plant on the top of the open area for dithers to dominate. I can't wait to upgrade! my shoal looks crammed in there already... I'm currently deciding on where the tank is going to be. Plus, its very fortunate because the seller is also downgrading therefore, needs some time to set up the new tank and have it run which gives me time to prep too. I bet my shoal is going to love their new home!

Focus on lite last. Maybe add one more fx5, cuz 2 is sufficient on a 210. Try a couple 12"-36" led strips or even one.

Not a bad idea jp. Any suggestions on how to cover the top part of the light? It would be really nice to save some bucks on the lights.

I have a JEBO 838 that I will use with it but I might get another fx5 if I can get a good price like the last one i got for $150.

Should I add another 300W Aqueon subm. heater? I think mostly likely I'm going to need it. Luckily I have a brand new one just laying around.
