Thoughts/concerns about Hydor inlines

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
In line heaters can be touchy. It's all about the correct contact time. I'd run one with a by pass and a valve at each end to control flow to it.

Never had a problem with mine. Good heaters if you ask me.

What if it's ran on an xp2-
Xp3 would be too much flow wouldn't it---

I also have a magnum 350 I could hook it too-

Would you still suggest a valve for flow...

I didn't have this same one but I paid 40 bucks for a Hydor heater...It malfunctioned and wouldn't shut off. I only had it for a month. Luckily I had a rena smart heater in there as well because it alerted me that the water was hotter then it should be. I will never buy that brand again.
