I currently have a 3 inch Raphael catfish, 3 inch Royal pleco, 8 inch featherfin catfish, 4.5 inch endlicheri birchir, 18 inch common pleco, and a 4 inch silver arowana housed in a 120 gallon 60x18 inch base aquarium. I am fully aware that this is much to small to house them for life but was wondering on what everyone thought of how the stock would work when they are much bigger.
I am also starting a plywood aquarium build but was wondering how big I should make it assuming that I am going to have these fish stocked together for life. I would like to keep the tank 4 feet wide and 3 feet deep, unsure on how long I should go.
Also a future stocking buddy would be a spotted gar, I'm going to wait a while on him though mostly because when my lfs gets any kind of gars their already around 10 inches. When would be the best time to introduce them?
Any tips are greatly appreciated and I will be taking everything into serious consideration. I would really love the best ways to prevent drop eye in my aro and want to know of any success stories with this. Thanks for the help!
