I have noticed that if you keep a fish in a small tank for a period of time. That the fish gets more colorful more pearls and even kok at a smaller size. Then when you put it in a large tank for the same period of time. The fish in the larger tank is larger before it starts coloring up.Do you think this is normal thing? And do you think this is how you get smaller FH and hybrids colored up with pearls and kok at small sizes?Could it be a way some do it.

Very possible. However it would be tough maintaining water quality so they probably have to change the water frequently just to have it workout for them.

Smaller fish smaller tank good filter. No need for anymore water changes then a big tank.
More water means more diluted nitrates, less water means more concentrated nitrates. If the tank size is the only variable, smaller tanks will require you to perform more water changes to keep parameters equal.
