Thoughts on 20 gallon tanks only braces on end

Hello out there. So cant find much on this as a search i have seen people like aquarium co op amd other on you tube only braceing smaller tanks on the ends of the tanks not on all four aides what are u guys thoughts on this. I. Made this stand to have a 48L x 18W x 16 high on the bottom and a 54L x 24W x 12 high on the top nut now i am leaning heavly towards put 4 x 20 gallon highs on the top instead. It is braced across it now but they do not line up with thel 20s amd i will remove them and run. 2 more 2 x4 parralell for strenggt that way if i do the 20.s whats u guys thought on only bracing 20 gallon highs on the ends and not the sides thanks. Pics of the set up both ways i have only one none used 20 to use for pics i am test filling it now in the pics

As long as all 4 corners are supported it'll be fine. If you are worried a 3/4" sheet of plywood would help.

Looks solid and well-built, especially if you "sister" the two lengthwise pieces with a second set of 2x4's.

Every fishroom I've had incorporated numbers of glass fanks up to 50 gallons supported only on the ends the way you describe. Never a problem.

Thanks for the input guys. I have only recently been finding builds with it being done like this.
