Thoughts on giant gouramis with centrals?

I have a albino GIant gourami with my central american cichlids.Its growing real fast believe it or not it fights with my cichlids .I think everything is intimidated by its size but i have a texas hybrid a little bigger then it wich fights with it quite often mostly just talkin crap but every now and again the gourami get its fins tared up and bloody scale spots.My worry is when the gourami out grows him will it tearize my cichlids or is a gourami not tuff anoph to inflict damage.There in a 125 gallon with like ten cichlids and some big rainbows.

I've never owned one but I hear they get about 2' and are tough SOB's.

Ive got 2 RTGG and ones a big feamle at 15" and shes doing fine with CA'S AND SA's but the 10" RTGG male got its ass kicked.

I put a 10 inch jag in with my 12 inch red tail and the jag got owned real quick.The red tail gourami flared his mouth just like a cichlid does.I think they mix well.

If you have a 300 gallon+ tank go for it. Not a fish that should be available to the common hobbyist.

large giant gouramis are tough as

your giant gourami should be able to hold its own... but you r gonna need a much bigger tank.

I have personally seen over 15 3 foot long gouramis. Unless you have some crazy 15'x4'x4' or bigger, I would not suggest a giant gourami.

Idk if it will beat them up....but it will definitely out grow them
