Well this is my first post on MFK. So hello and salutations. But I thought I'd get the communities thoughts on my community tank. It's a 25 gal. I have a Senegal Birchir and a Zig Zag eel, a couple of black kuhli loaches kick around as well. sand is the substrate. I'll try and post some pics here soon.

First off welcome to MFK and the best section of the forum ;)
The Senegal wont be living in the 25G for that long, in my experience your Kuhli Loaches will soon become a meal for your Bichir. The only risk for the Zig Zag is if hes smaller then the Bichir he'll become food.

I'll be upgrading when my money situation improves. There's a 55 gal that i've been scoping out recently. I'm not in too much of a rush about tho. the kuhli's will get moved into my smaller tank when the time is right at this point the senegal doesn't show too much interest in them and they seem cunning enough to know not to stick too close. the zig zag eel is about the same size as the birchir and he spends most of the time hiding under the sand anyway.

you will fall in love with your bichir if you already havent! my senegal gets an earth worm or two here and there. she cant resist em and death rolls em around the tank before slurping em up. quite the personality on those little buggers......also welcome!

mine has a taste for feeder guppies. he's still a little small for earthworms
