Hey everyone, just wanted to show my oscar tank set up and see what you guys think. Its a 75 with my big ole oscar "Barnsworth" and a convict. The two of then get along very well as barnsworth is super chill and the convict minds his own business. Only problem is i always seem to have nitrates. Its not much, usually about 10ppm.. Thats ok right? 0 nitrite and 0 ammonia though. I know its a bit of a smaller tank for housing an oscar and a convict but they get along so well and ive grown very attached to then both. I have to do a 50% water change twice a week to keep things in check but i enjoy doing water changes. The filters i have on there are an Emperor 400 and two aquaclear 70's. the emperor i dobt really like that much and id love to get a fluval canister but there so expensive...probably will ditch the emperor for an aquaclear 110. Anyway tell me what you think here are some pics!
