Anyone have this model or know anything about it? How fast does the water flow from the return hose? Is the wet/dry model better and if so, how much better?

I plan on using the canister in a 90 gallon with a small Jaguar cichlid, a medium size alibino pleco and a medium size marbled sailfin cat.

Thanks!

The 2028 is rated at 277 GPH with no media and 198 GPH with the Eheim suggested media stacking.

The 2229 (wet/dry) is for bio filtration ONLY when using Eheim suggested media. Filter is rated at 277 GPH w/no media and 145 GPH w/media. It is also very pricey.

I have both these filters on a 75G planted tank with one male 9" N. Venustus and one adult male P. Auratus. The tank is always crystal clear. I'm not sure if one filter would be sufficient for your 90G.
