It is more for interest sake than reality for transcontinental shipments. It appears that ketamine, yohimbine plus bicarb may be a better option. At least for some species.
Anyway, interested to hear your thoughts on this. It is fascinating and there must be a surfactant used to allow oxygen exchange Through the gill structure. No Meds because it is for food.
