I have a 180g tank with a divider in it currently. On one side of the divider is the smaller fish which include 2 V. Regani, one about 3.5" the other about 2.5". There is also a 2" Green Terror (arguably the most aggressive fish in the entire tank), and a 2.5" "unknown" Vieja (I think it's a guttalatum if it matters). The other side of the tank has a 4" Argentea and a 4.5-5" Synspilum. The Synspilum is quite aggressive and completely and utterly dominates the Argentea. I'm not sure if removing the divider would help or not. It would provide more space, more fish to disperse aggression... but I don't want the smaller guys to get killed either. If you don't think removing the divider is a good idea yet, what size do you think I should remove the divider at (for the smaller fish)? I'm also looking for some cheap Clown Loaches >2" for dithers but I'm not very successful yet. Thanks for any advice :)

That shouldn't be a problem. I have similar size differences in my tank 7-8" argentea, 5-6" Regani 6" black belt 5" gibbiceps 6" pearsei 4" synspilus and a very small 2.5" bocourti and everything is doing very well

I will try it soon. There is A LOT of decorations in the tank. Probably 100+ lbs of driftwood and 20+ fake plants.

I think I just managed to snag 3 clown loaches from someone, getting them tomorrow. 4-7 inchers :)

Yeah worth giving it a shot. Just keep an eye on things.

I got those clown loaches and removed the divider. Everything's going well so far but it's only been an hour or so.
