Do you guys think that a red tail cat will do fine in a 700L tank? dimensions are 84x24x24 of the tank....

no. a 54 inch fish in a 24 inch wide tank? it'd probably be ok for a year.

I have a tank slightly larger than that and honestly after seeing semi mature ones i know it would never work out long term...

They honestly need something like a pond or an extremely large tank...
