Check out this ocell he seems super healthy and eats like the rest of then is not sluggish at all. Ammonia is 0 and temp is at 87. I find it wierd he seems to have lost most of his color compared to the rest of my fish any ideas? Also he seems to be the loaner of the group. He used to be a jerk but the rest of him don't take it anymore he is always on the other side of the tank than the other 3.

Very intresting. How often have you been doing water changes? How big is the tank they are in? What are you feeding? And what are your nitrates? Maybe add some large barbs or silver dollars to help with the pecking order. This may also help all the bass get along better....giving them other fish to pick on.

Yeah its wierd. Hes like the ugly duckling. I do 40% Water Change every 3-4 days. There in a 50 Gallon right now. All frozen blood worms at the moment. And I know this isnt good but Im not sure about the nitrates. I just have an ammonia test kit and all it shows is colors :( Rookie I know. BUT its ready perfect everytime. I would add more fish but ive done it once already and I could of sworn they had a disease I just dont want to risk it. as you all know these fish aint cheap lol. with shipping and all I have about 100 bucks worth of fish lol

Simple he is being bullied by the rest showing submissisve colors....

Heres the catch though, He looked like this earlier on & he was the bully. Lately the tables have turned in there. He still is the largest of them though.

PH Levels are higher than normal but they have been drip acclimated in and seem lively as hell! Maybe its effecting the color of the fish. Ive heard drift wood would work to lower it. Should I get some from one of the finger lakes i love right near them. If I was to do that how do i prepare it because surly I cant just put it in there.

Roger that... I almost lost him in a water change a minute ago he swam up in my decorative tree stump I couldn't find my 4th fish so I took it out and he fell out of the smallest hole. Close call... Any way thanks guys
