Thousand Island/Super Spot BD pattern change

I am starting to look into getting a thousand island BD, my question is, at what size do the additional markings start to show up? Do they continue to develop more of a pattern for their entire life or once they his a certain size/age do they stop developing?

If you could post some pictures of the development as they grow it would be great to see.

I found my pups starting to show more smaller spots at around 1 year old. Every Ray is different dependant on so many things though including parentage obviously
