Hey all,
I came home a little while ago only to see my tank is flooding with microscopic white worms sticking to the side of the tank and crawling around or swimming freely in my tank. I am 100% sure they are worms because they are crawling on the side of the tank. They are around 2mm long and I'm sure this is why my fish have been getting sick recently. I currently have 60% of the water changed and am planning on doing a 100% with scrubbing, but for the items in my tank like a sponge filter and my hang-on filters, what is the best way to kill these parasites? Hot water? Chemicals? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
