thread for guests

we have a lot of guests here on mfk. i figured we could make a thread where we say why we joined mfk and think they should too. cut down on the number of guests and increase the number of MEMBERS!
I'll get the ball rolling:
It got me back into fish keeping. It's free. It's a way to find more people with your interests. It can help you get info that could one day save on of your pets. It can help you one day choose a pet. It's a darn good place to have fun if you have nothing better to do.

i meant for members to say why they joined, etc etc so guests can see and be convinced to join.

i joined this site because of all the up to date knowlege and other peoples experience beats reading a 10 yr old book etc.
pluss everyone has been very welcoming and helped out a lot with ideas on my new tank ! thanks guys
