Anybody have problems with threadfin cichlids and motoro stingrays?.... They are my diggers with my 2 armies and was just wondering if they would pi k at the rays..... Thanks

They should be fine, but i've kept guinacara sterigoisi group with my old rays and it did not end well. Keep an eye out and have a net ready if you start to see soars on the rays' discs or if you see the tailes all chewed up, get em out of there. If you feed them black worms, blood worms, or even small earthworms, they might mix one up with a rays tail. A small burried ray with nothing but their tail sticking out looks allot like a worm to a little cichlid.
Also depending on size, they might get eaten. If you're talking about adult motoros, I wouldnt do it.
Good luck!

I would apply some common sense definitely, being that rays are predators but on the whole many people keep Geos successfully with rays and they earn their keep :)

The geos are 4 inches rays are about 7-8 inch disk
You'll be fine.

Today I actually collected 9 Altifrons which are no more than 4" and I have a P13 atleast 12". I don't trust her 110% as you can't with any large ray but I'm confident as she has never hurt a tank mate, some of which are small clown loach around 3"
