I have a small school of threadfin rainbows and I recently lost a female ( I think she was eaten by my peacock eel) but I've recently seen a male missing an eye. I don't think this could have been the eel. Could it be that I put a big peice of wood in there recently without washing it and it had parasites? If so, should I buy a uv-sterilizer just to be safe with my other fish?
