how come my id thread got closed? ive seen a few of these. what people are not allowed to talk about the fish that gets id'd after it is? thank you all who replied anyway.

ive noticed this a lot too, especially in this section. but, we're not mods so we have no say in this...
Threads are usually closed after a positive Id. Kind sucks because no one can say "hey nice fish" but it is what it is.
id threads will be closed after positive identification. just throw up a picture in the photo lounge

Policy is when the ID is made, close it. No reason to keep on with great fish. As stated above by jhutch and redevildon there are places for sharing photos. There advice is great. and so was voss
