Three questions here

Ok, I'm not sure which section for sure to put this, Mods please move if needed.

I have a 55 with 2 gold Sevs....

1.) Is the 55 going to be to small for these guys, they are about 3" right now.

2.) If it isn't going to be to small, can I add anything else with them.

3.) There are 3 different fish I am looking into for possible tank mates, the site I am looking over has them for suitable tank mates. I need to know if they really are, and if the 55 would be alright to put them in.

I do have a 75g I will be resealing once weather is permitting, no garage so doing it outside. I had planned on using it to make a new Kenyi or Mbuma tank but could switch that around w/ the 55 easily.

I would not put in the frontosa but the two geos will fine. You 55 is fine for those four plus one or two more smaller guys. The geo Jurapari is commonly called a Jurapari.

Thanks!! LMAO...at the "Jurapari" thing so I'm a goof, I just figured they had some other name to them.

Well, I'll have to look some more stuff up on them I think and start looking for some. So would you say just one of each then? Cause that is what I was thinking just the 2 sev, and then one or two of the others if I could add any.

one common name for them is eartheaters..

and i think that you'll need a bigger tank..ask to move your thread to the south & central american cichlid section for more info..

a 55 will be fine for the 2 sevs but i would not add any of the 3 you listed.

you could a nice group of large tetra with them.
