Well snagged up a chillean red rose tarantula a few days ago. He is in a 10 gallon with pretty dry substrate. Could anyone chime in on if i should mist the tank? Ive read mixed results..anyways here are some pics enjoy

Firstly, get rid of the sponge. They do nothing but harbor bacteria. Just take a spray bottle and spray the substrate...

Okay he should start climbing more if its to wet right? And can it be tap water or? Do you own one? Just curious

yes, you will find him up on the glass, refusing to touch the ground...i do not own one but i researched their care for quite a while on arachnoboards...
