Well snagged up a chillean red rose tarantula a few days ago. He is in a 10 gallon with pretty dry substrate. Could anyone chime in on if i should mist the tank? Firstly, get rid of the sponge. They do nothing but harbor bacteria. Just take a spray bottle and spray the substrate...

yes, you will find him up on the glass, refusing to touch the ground...i do not own one but i researched their care for quite a while on arachnoboards...
 
Thats a cool looking tank, i like the cliff with the branch going up to it.
