I looked around the forum and saw some different opinions so I started this thread.
I have a newly cycled tank and have it filled with plants (well anchored bamboo) and java fern, driftwood and rocks.
I have African cichlids (various) a 5 inch bicher and some community type fish.
A buddy of mine at the LFS is giving me a silver arowana (maybe 3 inches) and a medium ornate bicher 6 or 7 inches.
At first I am sure this will be ok as I work from home much and feed everything too much. I have an FX5 and another over top 500G per hr unit.

How long do I have before this tank needs to be separated?
I am getting a 300 within 6 months but will this hold up till then?

I don't feed them feeders or power feed. They eat worms, insects, frozen bloodworms, pellets and flake.

Thoughts?
