I have one Tidepool (with overflow box) on my 100-gallon freshwater aquarium. I want to move the filter to a larger tank. Is it possible to connect two Tidepools for enough filtration for a 180-gallon tank?? (The instructions show how to do it for a pre-drilled Jetstream tank but I don't have one of those).

I don't think it would be a problem as long as you only had one pump returning the water to the tank.

My bad, I typed quicker than I thought.... I now realize that you mention the manual in your original post. I did read somewhere that if you are going to use a submersible pump in just one sump you should have a 2" pipe connecting the two sumps to ensure they remain level. Hope this helps

Where is the original post? I need the tidepool manual. I' trying to set one up for the first time. I'e had it 5 or 6 years and just never used it. But I've got the tidepool one and the sos. Please help. I need a manual or online diagram I cant' figure it out myself I've tried.

Here’s one of my old 180g setups. This was 1.5” connected pipe with a mag drive 18 pump. 2” would have probably been better but it ran for years like this
