tig and cichla

how compatible are they? Do tigs eat anything like RTC's? Whats are tigs general behavior and how fast do they grow? Should my tig be bigger then my cichla or smaller?

I have seen tanks on here with Tigs and Cichla successfully together.

I tried to house a 7" Juruense (as you know, they are very similar to Tigs in body shape) with my bass. My bigger Kelberi always beat up on the Jur at night, and I was forced to get rid of it (the jur).

I think, as with all Cichlids, it is hit or miss. However, I think the chances are probably more that 50% that you could successfully do it.

true but i hear that jurs are a bit worse then tigs. i actually heard that jurs hit tigs. but thanks for the info man!

i keep a 24" tsn with 4 10" motoros and 3 16" p bass in my 600 gal. thinking i want to get rid of the tig. he gets a little nippy when feeding.

a TSN and a Tigrinus are very different. I'm planning on putting pbass with mine.
