i'm newbie to both kind. Can they really live together in a 180gallon tank (6x2x2) with a 60gallons sump. I have a 18" arowana, 10-11" widebar, 1 blood parrot, 1 6-8" pleco. I just ordered 1 flower ray size will be 6-8". I'm thinking to get 1 12" Tig from All Happy. So should i get the Tig too or no ?

well first off that pleco will prbabley be a problem but
tigs and rays are fine but u will eventuly need a bigger tank

So you mean, the pleco will suck on my ray ? for tank, i will upgrade to bigger tank may be 6-7 x 3 x 3. So it's ok to comm them together ?

yes a tig and a ray are fine together but 99% of the time that pleco is a prblm by sucking of the slime

I agree; I wouldn't put a pleco in with the ray....

flowers get very large and do not take to stress at all....... the tig out competing the flower for food is not good.... water must stay perfect as they are sensitive pain in the arse rays.... i wouldnt recomend one as a starter ray...

i had kept a moto ray for my friend couple months before he sold it so have little experience about ray. I'm not worry about the water. I'm sure my water is in good condition. My water is always stable in 6.5-7 pH range. water change almost every day about 10gals with RO water, sometimes mix little with tap water.

they are not easy rays to take care of....they are not hardy at all.... I would go for a more hardy ray and get a lil more experience under your belt.... flowers like to just die for no reason....
