In front of my tanks
i recently just picked up a 6" tig and i and i have a 6" jurenese also i no tigs fight amongst themselves could i put these to cats together seeing there in the same family with no casulties

My tigs never fought with each other, but they also had plenty of space and got hand fed so everyone got their fill. I don't personally know of any reason not to keep them together, especially if the aquarium is large enough and there is a home for each of them.

they should be fine with a juruense. If it was a jau cat, then I'd say no way :)

LMAO. Yeah, I'd say no to a Jau too. Poor tig would never stand a chance! It either just disappear or get bit and beaten to death. :( But, I think the two he has will be just fine. Oh, yeah, btw, nice pick up. Can we see some pics?

Jau cats are mean even when little. There was a guy here who bought some baby ones and they would fight and kill each other. crazy. Juru and Tig should do fine.

They'll pick on one another...nothing deadly but one of the cat's fins will be beaten constantly.

Or you need a BIG tank to keep them away from one another. I have both and for a year they were together, the juruense's tail or fin are always torn up. still eating like a pig and growing. I could never isolate the culprit UNTIL I move the tig to the other tank and the juruense grew 12-14" trailer in a first 2-3 weeks LOL

tigs have a reputation for being unhardy. Lots of them being brought in lately with good survival rates so thats good.

thanks thats what i thoughtthey would be in a 180 together but the tankmates are rays and minimal hiding spots would keep them close
