would it be ok to put a tigrinus in with a marbel pim or would they beat the hell out of each other? theyd be in a 210 with a silver aro and a buttikoferi and a channel cat.
Seems to me like it might get a little crowded in there by adding another large catfish... Just my opinion though.... I've kept the marble pim but not a tig. My marble pim was very passive....
I would ditch the channel catfish and rock the marble pim and the tig, if possible try to get a tig thats the same size or bigger then the marble pim, preferably bigger because the pim will not only grow faster but also has a wide mouth like a RTC and could potentially eat your tig. That being said, don't own a tig but I will on wednesday and have kept a marble pim in the past, mine grew 2-3" a month for about 4 months before I sold him and never did any harm to anything other then feeders even when there were smaller fish around him that were technically feasible for him to try and eat. They shouldn't beat up on each other because tigs are one of the more peacefull shovelnose species to my knowledge and from what I'm reading above marble pims aren't that agressive either just have big appetites. Both should be fine together in a 210 for a while you might be able to get away with a year if your feeding moderately and not uber protein to bulk them up. Good luck and post pics when you get them ~Trent
