what can i get him to eat. he only eats feeders n that just made my prized FH get a parasite from eating then as well. he is his tank mate. he doesnt seem to b effected. only the fh. but im treating the whole tank. i tride shrimp but no go. i tride tilipia filet. no go....=( massivore delite..no g0o0o...=/ im already starving him.

What I did was to buy a pipe for them to get comfortable to hide in. (read that they like to hide and dash out when they see a prey) Once settled, I used tongs to wiggle the cut up shrimp back and forth the end of the pipe the Tig was facing. That'll lure them out a little. Then I just had to make the cut up shrimp move a little like a fish. At times, I even placed the meat right on the snout of the stubborn Tig. Took a few days, he even spat it back out the first couple of days after biting on the shrimp. But on the third day of biting/spiting it out, he took it and since then he's been taking it straight away.

Many live foods (earthworm, cricket, etc.) are known to carry few or no fish parasites. If you breed your own livebearers and know they are clean those can also be a good food when gutloaded.
Amazing already. Just remember not to overfeed, as that is a strong suspect among many mystery deaths of that species here on MFK. Make sure he doesn't get the fat hump behind his head, that's all I know.
okay so no go he wnt go after anything but a fish. so instead of goldfish i am going to pic up rosys/minnows. and but them in a tank for an hour or two with salt n metro to kill any parasite and then feed them by hand to just the tig. what u guys think ?
