So I was sitting in my room and saw something red stuck to my snout of my Tig.

Upon a closer look, it was blood. I thought it was a surface scrap or something but only to find that the blood was coming from its nostril.

Is it just a simple bump that might have caused the nosebleed? Or is there something more I should be concerned about?

I've never had any of my fish with this much blood seeping out of their nostrils before.

I felt bad for him/her, so I dropped in a few massivores and he/she snatched it up straight away. After 5 minutes after eating, the bleeding stopped... :headbang2

Here are some pics:

The first thing I do whenever anything seems weird/off with my fish is test the water for ammonia, nitrIte and nitrAte. Have you done this? If you have and everything is ok (ammonia - 0, nitrIte - 0, nitrAte <20) then I would say it's fine, and keep a very close eye on it for any signs of infection: redness, swelling, white/yellow seepage; or any other behavior that might signal more proactive measures.
