Tiger barb, true max size.

So I have 125g tank with 3 black spotted spiny eels (15”;16”;17”) And a green phantom pleco (6”). I am adding tiger barbs and Odessa barbs to the tank, Aqadvisor says 40 tigers and 30 Odessa barbs, with the bottom dwellers already there, is 100% stocking. Aka it says it’s great.

However I’ve seen many conflicting accounts of their size, and would like some clarification on it. Thanks in advance.

Ive had some a good 2.5-3". I can't remember how old, but several yrs. I used them as dithers and one of my parachromis turned on a little quicker than a thought so they bit it.

They seem to max out at 3” but get very fat and round. Very nice in a big group. Sold my last group of 40 a few months back.
