i was wondering if these would be a good selection for a ca/sa setup? i know they're fin nippers but i have no slow moving, high finnage stock in there besides my geo, who has no problem standing up for himself. i've always loved the personalities/looks of these little guys, and would want to get 5 or 6 to change it up a bit.. but also don't want them to be quick food either..

put some in with my devil. lunch. didnt last a night. some one told me to try silver dollars, been having them a year.

yeah well i don't really have any big aggresive ones, for now.. i also didn't want to get anything that gets to be bigger than like 2" and take up the room for the real stuff

I have heard Tiger Barbs work well as dithers, but are not very good target fish unless they are full grown and consequently fast enough to avoid being eaten.

They aren't very big, so they might get eaten. I've seen several tanks with them though.

Giant danios are probably a better choice, but I'm guessing you maybe don't like them? Bigger, probably faster, not nippy.

they should be fine, but it depends on the cichlid to be matched with...they should be fine with most smaller CA's and SA's like acaras, severums, chocolates

yeah depends on the fish youre keeping them with; might end up getting killed. i have tinfoils in my 210. works out good cause theyre huge and fast as hell

I use Giant Danios...Work great!
