A quick question for everyone here. I have a 5'' tiger botia. About a year ago he TORMENTED another one I had. Would he be okay with a like 4 yoyos and maybe a couple of clowns? All at like 2''s?
Does overcrowding help like it does with african cichlids?
Thanks for any help.

I had a large Tiger Botia that tormented other fish too. Only way to pick good loach tankmates is to pick specimens that are larger.

Tiger Loaches are probabaly too aggresive to go with the other types mentioned. Some loaches can be very aggressive to other species and with each other, like the Blue Botias and skunk loaches.

I have Yo-Yos, Clowns, Angelicus and Zebra Loaches together and they are all fine together. You should check out the website Loaches Online, www.loaches.com, as they have more information on all kinds of loaches (not just Botia) then you probably want to know!

Agreed. Check out that site. My large tiger chased two much plumper yoyo's, I know they are intolerate.

As far as I know tigers dont get along with other loaches.I have one in my 125g mbuna tank and he is more than a match for any of them.
