Here is my new tiger knifefish that I got from Charles. The base color was white before when I first got it and 2 days later the color changed to orange and the temperament also changed. It was peaceful when it was at Charles and probably got scared by the two huge flower rays. Now that all his tankmates are about the same size, it became territorial and a fin nipper. It's very active too patrolling around the the divided 120g tank. The 27" SAL owns the other half.

The orange color looks paler in personal. The flash somehow made it look dark orange.

That is amazing. Really, really beautiful. It's too bad to hear about the aggression though, but what's he eating? Maybe that could explain the color change, or maybe your orange substrate brings out their chameleon like qualities and change to their surroundings

I only have this fish for 4 days from now. I've been feeding it bloodworms, prawns and smelts.
