Tiger musky

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I hear they are extremely hard to keep in captivity and only live up to around 12-18 inches and die

Well i was looking to get couple for my outdoor pond it is 20 by 15 by 5 ft. So what would be better northern pike or musky

nether as the pond will get to warm for them your best bet for esox is Grass or red fin pickerel. might be able to do a chain pickerel but i dont know enough about them to say for sure.

This. As already stated your esox will die in that pond most likely. 5 feet of water is going to get way too warm IMHO for pike or tigers, grass and redfins can tolerate higher temps much easier than pike or musky.

you could fit a ton of grass pickerel in that pond.

There is no average size for tiger musky in captivity. Doesn't mean they'll stay smaller.
