tiger oscar hole in head

So today i went and pick a tiger oscar from a friend and it had hole in head. the poor thing was in a little 20 gallon with no glass tops and he told me it jump out a couple times:irked: And i wanted to know how should i treat it
and how far gone the oscar is
and will be ok to put the oscar in general population

No quarantine it and let him heal. Heat at 81, salt, stress coat, and at least 50 percent water changes every other day for about a week. You may want to use melavix also but only after the first two days of isolation. And after about a week or two then you may try to introduce him in the tank with others but be careful.
 
Sorry to read about the loss, as bad as the damage looked these are tough cookies, probably moving the fish stressed it out too much.

When i first got it waS EATING LIKE a champ
and the holes it had look like they were geting smaller
And I tried to introduce it to my other fish after the 1 week treatment
The other fish do nothing execpt the Gt Rd and the oscar started to harass the poor thing so moved it again to another tank a 40 gal that was running just for him and treated water but this morning:cry:
