Tiger Oscar vs. Jack Dempsey

Ok, I have 2 tiger oscars right now and am thinkin about switching the cichilds to Jacks but I hae questions for the experts. 1. Are JD's pigs like oscars when it comes to food? 2. Do they have the attitude of oscars? 3. do JD's eat feeders (home grown)? 4. What are good tank mates for JD's? thanks guys, further info, they will be going into a 220G tank, there tankmates will be the following.
2 Pbass 3-4 inches
2 Albino Channel cats 2-4 inches
1 Silver Aro 9-10 inches
1 Ornate Bichir 8-9 inches
1 common pleco 5-6 inches
1 CK 4-5 inches
1 RTC 7-8 inches
1 TSN 6-7 inches
1 fire eel 10-12 inches (not sure cause i never see him xp)
1 Soft Shell turtle 5-6 inches long 4-5 inches around

I know from experience dempseys are much cleaner than oscars. Every oscar I had was a glutton that made a huge mess. Oscars were the messyest fish I ever had. As for attitude a dempsey is meaner typically , but that can vary from fish to fish...Like people to people.
Firemouths and convicts are great tank mates. Oscars can also cohabitate.
As for your 220 tank mates , you can pull off the dempsey addition as long as the dempsey is big enough to not be eaten.
