About 4 days ago I noticed the tips of all of my Oscar's fins starting to rot, and his scales on both sides of his body (one side a little more then the other) or sort of turning whitish and some are lifting. It seemed to happen over night because the night before he looked perfectly fine. So I treated him with some "Jungle" Parasite fizzing tablets because it said it worked for Fin Rot and I see it recommended here a lot. That treatment seemed to slow it down but now he still seems to have it and it is getting very bad. To the point where I think he only has scales on his head. But the middle of his sides are still white. He his still eating and acting the same just a little slower. :(

The best thing you can do for your guy is to give him 50% water changes a day minimum. That's assuming he's in at least a 55 g tank. Any smaller of a tank and that's your problem, right there. The Parasite Clear won't hurt him but it's for parasites and not fin rot. Fin rot is non-existant in really clean water. (Did I spell 'existant right?)

Thank you very much for your help, I will start giving him water changes every day. He is in a 55 gallon right now. And it is "Existent" don't worry I do it all the time.
