has anyone ever keep these 2 together im just worried the scats might get nippy towards the rays but im not sure wanted to see if anyone else has ever tried this combo before thanks in advance

Welcome to MFK. Yes, my buddy tried this with disasterous results. Had 2 motoros and 6 scats in a 450gal tank. Scats nipped at one of the motoros tail. Scats are very nippy. I am sure someone has made it work, but I personally would not try it.
